Ibrahim Kamara a native Sierra Leonean, residence in Allentown, in the Eastern district of the capital Freetown, has been a victim of intimidation and discrimination in his community since he resolved to practice homosexuality as his way of life.
Report reaching this press revealed that Mr. Ibrahim Kamara, a fine gentleman emanates from a religious Muslim background whose customs and traditions seriously frown at homosexualism, thus were totally disappointed in him when it comes to their notice that their Son, Ibrahim Kamara, has decided to choose homosexualism as a practice. (See photo below).
From this backdrop, the family members of Ibrahim Kamara decided to take the leading role of destroying the destiny of Mr. Kamara by conspiring with community members in a plot to take the life of Mr. Kamara whom they refer to as the black sheep of the family because of his resolve.
According to sources close to the family, several attempts have been made by family members using the means of witch- doctors to eliminate him from the face of the earth but all seemed fruitless. Sources continued that family members of Ibrahim Kamara further decided to plan a clandestine operation in which he will be physically assaulted by hired thugs, just in the name of saving the family for alleged shame Ibrahim has put the them into.
It was also reported that community members who have been accusing Ibrahim Kamara of initiating Community youth into the practice of homosexualism (see photo below) were also aggrieved and were determined to ensure that Mr. Kamara is totally obliterated in the community, to the extent that they exploited all sort of avenues to ensuring that their plan of killing Mr. Ibrahim Kamara materialized.
This press gathered that Community Youths who have known Mr. Ibrahim Kamara as a very prolific and popular Mic Controller that has created landmark in the entertainment industry (see photo of previous show being organise)
on one occasion attacked and assaulted him during one of his performances in one of the clubs in the community. Had it not been the timely intervention of the organizers who invited the presence of the police, Mr. Ibrahim Kamara would have suffered death through the mob.
Sources furthered that the last episode that breaks the camel’s back was the organized attacker launched by community thugs on the residence of Ibrahim Kamara with the aim of killing him, which he narrowly escaped.
Having gone through all of these intimidation, Mr. Kamara decided to notify the nearest police station in the community for protection, but however his complain further aggravated the situation as the police officers who were in supportive of the community people, frowned at Mr. Kamara, on the basis of his decision to belong to the Gay society which according them is against the traditional dictates of society, treated Ibrahim Kamara’s report with a pinch of salt.
Frustrated as he was, he further decided to seek redress to the Legal Aid Board with the hope that his right of association is protected and recognized. To his dismay no serious action was taking by the human right institution to curtail the threat and intimidation he was going through, which finally led to his total discouragement that might have led to his mysterious disappearance from the community and country at large, a year ago.
As at the time of writing this piece, reliable sources revealed to this press that Ibrahim Kamara has absconded from the country and that his whereabout is yet unknown.
