On 4 October 2025, Hon. Joseph F. Kamara, one of the flag bearer aspirants for the opposition All People’s Congress visited the people of Makeni city in Bombali district where he was warmly received with Joy and peace.
Hon Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara together with his wife and other stakeholders in the district assured the people of Makeni, Bobali district and Sierra Leone in general that he is ready, prepared and committed to take the APC party to governance come 2028.
During the colourful ceremony that attracted large number of jubilant Okada riders, students party grassroots and other members, they all warmly welcomed him, referring to him as son of the soil. The people of Makeni city especially youth and women assured him of their unwavering support at all times.
In response, Hon JFK told the people of Makeni and Bombali as a whole that Makeni is a city of APC the heartbeat of politics where he officially registered his intention for the leadership the party.
Former and present councilors and other political heavyweights present at the ceremony thanked JFK for his consideration of the district and pledged their support for his leadership ambition, noting that power is not by friendship but loyalty sacrifice and commitment. They wished well in his endeavor.
