Thimzy Empowerment Initiative is proud to announce the Boss Lady Creatifest 2025, a celebration of creativity, innovation, and enterprise among women entrepreneurs in Sierra Leone. The event, themed “Ignite Her Spark: Advancing Innovation, Skills, and Local Brilliance,” will take place on the 27th November, 2025, at the Saint Anthony’s Hall, Syke Street, Freetown.
The Boss Lady Creatifest 2025 features a business pitch competition where over 30 entrepreneurs have registered, with only the top 7 qualifiers set to make it to the final round. The winner will receive a grand prize of Le 10,000.00. The event aims to empower young women and girls in Sierra Leone by providing them with the resources, skills, and support needed to reach their full potential.
The initiative is in line with the organization’s mission to address critical challenges faced by young women and girls, particularly in their transition from adolescence to adulthood. Thimzy Empowerment Initiative is committed to upholding the principles enshrined in domestic and international conventions and SDGs, the government’snational development agenda and the big five changers, such as the Child Rights Act 2007, Education Act 2004, and GEWE Act 2022.
The event is designed to ignite the spark in women entrepreneurs, advancing innovation, skills, and local brilliance. The festival will include a Women in Innovation & Entrepreneurship Conference, startup business pitch competition, awards, and recognition dinner.
