Freetown, Sierra Leone – The National Revenue Authority (NRA) has issued a public notice urging taxpayers to comply with tax obligations during the festive season. In a statement dated November 19, 2025, the NRA expressed appreciation for taxpayers’ continued support and contribution to Sierra Leone’s development.
The authority highlighted three key areas of focus: issuing receipts through the Electronic Cash Register (ECR) for all sales, stocking and selling only stamped excisable goods, and registering and paying Goods and Services Tax (GST) on entertainment events. The NRA emphasized that compliance remains mandatory and warned of penalties for non-compliance.
Commissioner General thanked taxpayers for their cooperation and wished Sierra Leoneans a joyful and peaceful festive season.
