Vice President Dr. Mohamed JuldehJalloh has taken the kick-off at the grand finale of a community football tournament on Sunday 23 November 2025, at the Casablanca Field, just behind the Aberdeen Road Market.
The match, featuring Moko Tong and Ferry Road teams, stood out as one of the biggest moments in this year’s local sports calendar.
His attendance brought energy to the event, after he praised the Milla Football Foundation (MFF) for promoting unity, discipline and youth empowerment through the game.
VP JuldehJalloh also reiterated the government’s support for grassroots football and its goal of opening more doors for young players and athletes. The finale drew a strong crowd from the Aberdeen Community and its immediate environs, highlighting opportunities for emerging talents and showing how sports can continue to unite local communities.
Speaking to this reporter, the organizers of the Milla Football Foundation (MFF) said they were highly excited to see the Hon. Vice President take the ceremonial kick-off.
