The huge number of quarantined doctors and nurses who are put aside to be in isolation for probably coming into contact with the affected pediatrician; and the fear of medical workers over the deadly coronavirus have resulted in the closure of many hospitals and health centers.
According to a reliable source, many patients were asked to return to their homes because there were no doctors or nurses to look after them in the hospitals.
It was also reported that some people decided to take their patients away for fear of contacting the coronavirus.
Report reaching this press stated that some of the wards at the PCMH maternity hospital are also empty. It’s not clear why, and that meanwhile the referral hospital at Connaught, in which there is about 250 to the 280-bed facility, has only a handful of critically ill patients as the others have either been discharged or have leftover fears of the Covid19 pandemic.

Many health workers have complained that adequate preparation wasn’t made to transport health workers to and from work. Some of them complained of waiting hours before they were lifted by other emergency service workers, our reporter reported.
