The honourable Member of Parliament representing constituency 023, in Kono district last week admonished her constituents on the importance of abiding to the rules governing the state so as to enjoy an atmosphere of sanity.
Speaking at this occasion the Honorable member started by thanking the people of the three communities for their supports and encouraged them to continue to maintain peace, love and harmony among themselves, saying, that will help them achieve their developmental aspirations.
He further encouraged the youths to stay away from violence and all forms of sexual offenses, as he expressed his delights over the huge turn out by the community members and promise to get their own shares of his good will and developmental packages.
The honorable member concluded by asking the community members to be supportive and security conscious to protect whatever development is taken to their various communities, stating that their supports and protections will help generations yet unborn to enjoy those facilities in the near future.
In appreciating the community people, the Kono district C4C Vice chairman and also the constituency developments chairman Mr Mohamed Yerro Bah, thanked God almighty for the protection of the lives of the people of the constituency and the honorable member and further thanked them for their overwhelming votes during the 2018 elections which brought the developmentally oriented and God fearing MP into office and therefore describe the honorable as a blessing in disguise to the Nimikoro chiefdom people. The chairman further continued to applauds Honorable Musa Fofanah for his relentless efforts and described him as chain and records breaker in the history of the chiefdom and constituency, saying that since the history of Nimikoro Chiefdom, no member of parliament in the constituency had ever done what the current MP has done in just two and a half years in office. He therefore encouraged all constituents to embrace the MP and his developmental projects in the chiefdom.
The constituency secretary general, Mr Tamba David Osman in his short and briefed statement, said, politics is not about tribe or region but about who can deliver, this he says, the honorable MUSA FOFANAH had already manifested. He called on all constituents to continue giving their unflinching supports to the dynamic and developmental bulldozer and MP. The meeting ended with a show of cultural performance and dance by the community members and his constituents.
