While many are distracted by internal maneuvering and succession politics, Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh remains exactly where a future national leader should be — working for Sierra Leone under the leadership of President Julius Maada Bio.

As he returned from high-level engagements with our ECOWAS partners, including the Vice President of Ghana, H.E. Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, and senior officials of Côte d’Ivoire, the Vice President was not campaigning. He was advancing the foreign policy, regional diplomacy, and economic priorities of President Bio’s government — strengthening the respect and credibility Sierra Leone now enjoys across the region.

His productive meeting with African Development Bank President Mr. Sidi Ould Tah focused on expanding private-sector financing for major infrastructure projects, a key pillar of President Bio’s New Direction and Big Five development agenda. These are not abstract discussions; they are the building blocks of roads, energy, ports, and jobs that will define the President’s legacy.

Delegates should take careful note:

This is what responsible continuity looks like — a Vice President who does not seek to overshadow the President, but who faithfully executes and deepens his vision, at home and abroad.

Dr. Juldeh Jalloh’s strength is precisely this: he has earned the trust of President Bio, the confidence of international partners, and the respect of regional leaders. That combination cannot be manufactured during a campaign — it is built through years of disciplined service at the center of government.

The SLPP does not need disruption. It needs continuity with competence, loyalty with leadership, and experience with results. In Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, the party has a steady hand ready to protect and advance the legacy of President Bio while carrying the nation forward.
