I know you are as concerned as the next person for not hearing from the Motivational Herbalist in times like this. Well, my message would not have come in anytime more appropriate than this. So I’m reaching out to everyone to rekindle your faith. I know the world is at war with a virus. I know that you’re feeling hopeless because of a problem. I also know that you’ve been largely affected by the pandemic COVID-19. I ask you to remain calm and believe that a solution is coming your way. Tough times and dark days are inevitable. Everyone falls down, makes mistakes, and faces tough obstacles in life (if you have not, you will). But in the face of all this, what matters is whether we keep our faith not only during the happy times but also during tough times – like this global pandemic COVID-19 outbreak. Keep believing. Keep picturing this too shall pass. They’re just temporary inconveniences. They’ve not come to stay, they’ve come to pass. Keep the faith!
I have no way of knowing what the future holds for you. You might count huge loss in your business, you might lose your job, you may lose your loved-ones to a pandemic like this, you might lose your home. Things may not go as planned. Matter of fact, life rarely ever goes exactly as planned. Often times life will take you in a completely different direction. It’s obvious that things are not happening your way. But it’s ok. HAVE FAITH! Relax and keep the faith. In all ways, keep the faith and trust God Almighty. Trust Him and believe that it will happen, and it WILL happen.
The UN Secretary-General – Antonio Gutierrez recently remarked that “We are in an unprecedented situation and the normal rules no longer apply. We cannot result in the usual times.” This means that we must have to discourage the traditional handshakes and crowding. Plus this means a lot. But what I find more troubling and exacerbating in the face of this turbulent pandemic, is the kerfuffle of misleading news emerging about the COVID-19 outbreak. Please discredit them. All of them! Refuse to get yourself paralyzed with fear. Have faith, and let your FAITH be bigger than your FEAR. I love your energy so far. Continue keeping your distance. Always wash your hands. Stay at home. Today, 6th April 2020, Sierra Leone is observing the second day of the three days national lockdown. We’re keeping the faith. Help the government to help you.
From the motivational standpoint, FAITH is essential to success. If you don’t have faith in what you do, chances are you won’t succeed. Faith means believing in something. Faith doesn’t mean everything will be perfect ALL THE TIMES. Faith believes it will happen when there are no signs it will happen. Having faith means you believe that in the end, if I keep going if I keep finding answers if I continue to do whatever it takes to succeed, I will succeed. Having an infrangible belief in you is essential to successful living. You’ve got to have faith. No matter what happens… have faith. Faith that in the end, it will work out. Faith believes in your dreams when no one else does. I cannot help but be reminded of the German-born Albert Einstein when he remarked that “Only those who can see the invisible can achieve the impossible.” Sometimes you may need to risk it all for a dream only you can see. Have faith in your dream, no matter what you have to sacrifice to accomplish it. No matterhow long it is going to take, have faith that it will work out in the end. Faith is taking the first step, even though you can’t see the whole path. Trusting the rest of the path will reveal itself in time….if you keep moving. Have faith that your time will come – if you continue pushing for it. You become unstoppable when you believe and have faith in yourself. There is no greater asset than faith and belief in you.
I will not lie to you. Like the next person, I have seen days so dark. But I kept my faith. When there was no job I kept my faith and continue searching. I’m still broke, but I keep my faith. I’m sick, but I keep my faith. I don’t own a house, but I keep my faith. I have been betrayed and disappointed, but I keep my faith. Now listen to me: if you lose your job, keep the faith. If you lose your spouse, keep the faith. If you bury your parents, keep the faith. If you bury your child, keep the faith. If you get sick, keep the faith. No food on the table? Keep the faith. Keep the faith, hold on. Things will get better. It might be stormy now, but it can’t rain forever.
As I rekindle your faith, I am far from the first to tell you to reach out to the needy and do the needful. Put a smile on someone’s face – in these trying times. Be magnanimous!
This is the mission whom I have set myself; I want you to be able to get through this pandemic with strong faith and self-discipline.
