Dr. Eldred T. Taylor during the commissioning addressed residents of thunder hill thereby reiterating government’s firm committment in ensuring accessibility and sustainable of electricity in the whole of the country. In this regard, he made it known that together with his boss, Alhaji Kanja Sesay are working relentlessly to realize such committment. Consequently, he said that the pre existing 600kva earth transformer that was installed early in 2019, was damaged due to the unprotected system on the network. Sequel to this, he reassured residents that the replacement of the 630kva transformer would not face similar situation due to the robust protection system being put in place. He added that there is double protection systems on both the incoming and outgoing voltage to primarily protect the pannel. He commended the technical team for their laudable effort in actualizing the project. He encouraged residents to continue paying their elcetricity bills and on the contrary, he further admornished them to desist from any form of illegal connectivity. He intimated that government through the ministry or EDSA has not instructed anyone to collect money from any resident to pay for either installation neither transportation of transformer. He made a clarion call for residents to report any form of distortion to appropriate authorities.
