One of the APC’S 2018 presidential aspirant Basie Kamara, donated the sum of ten million Leones (Le 10,000,000) to the APC party bank account.
According to Mr. Basie, even though he was not fortunate to command the position of flag bearer in the concluded convention yet he remained committed to support the activities of the APC party, stating that though he could not present in Sierra Leone to do the donation, he has sent representatives to present the aforesaid amount cheque to the APC party National Secretary General for clarity and effectiveness.
He furthered that the ten million Leones have been lodged into the APC party’s account for the purpose of ” painting the APC party office “.
The APC party National Secretary General Alhaji Ambassador Dr. Osman Foday Yansaneh responded to this gesture by saying, ” in a time like this, Bassie Kamara join others to lubricates the affairs of the APC party” he continued to thank him on behalf of the Chairman/Leader, the party Secretariat and all rank and files of executive for such a donation.
He maintained that, such donation will be referenced when the need arise and that such cheque presented to him will serve as future evidence. At this juncture, the APC party National Secretary General ended his response by giving a receipt of the ten million Leones donated into the APC party’s account to Emmanuel as representative of Bassie Kamara based in the USA for transparency and accountability. APC party National Organizing Secretary, Deputy National Organising Secretary, Treasurer to name a few was all in attendance.
