Happy Kids and Adolescents Push Towards Eliminating FGM

In a determined effort to end Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in Sierra Leone, Happy Kids and Adolescents has organized a capacity-building training for Network Executives across Koinadugu, Karene, and Falaba Districts.

The training focuses on advocacy, mentoring, and improving service access for FGM survivors, equipping participants with the skills to lead community-based actions that protect the rights and well-being of women and girls.

This initiative aims to strengthen collaboration among community leaders, service providers, and advocates in the fight against FGM ensuring survivors receive the care and support they deserve while promoting the total abandonment of the practice.

The activity is supported by UNFPA, the Government of Iceland, and the Ministry of Gender and Children’s Affairs, Republic of Sierra Leone.
