Port Loko City, 22 November 2025
Sheikh Alhaji Mohamed “Omodu’’ Kamara, widely known as Jagaban, the leading flagbearer aspirant of the All People’s Congress (APC) party, has made a notable appearance at the grand fundraising event for the expansion of the BaiBureh Memorial Hall in Port Loko. The project seeks to provide sufficient space to host the upcoming APC National Delegates Conference, a key gathering ahead of the party’s 2028 election preparations.
Jagaban, acknowledged by many Sierra Leoneans for his organizational strength and leadership capacity, further demonstrated his commitment to the party by announcing a remarkable contribution of one billion one hundred and eighty-seven million five hundred thousand leones(Le1,187,500,000) toward the hall’s expansion.
His donation immediately energized the event, drawing loud applause from party stakeholders, supporters, and community members who viewed the gesture as a strong indication of his readiness to serve and his dedication to strengthening the APC’s regional structures.
Following the announcement, supporters and well-wishers celebrated him enthusiastically, chanting messages of appreciation and expressing confidence in his leadership. Many described him as a unifying figure capable of leading the APC to future national victory.
“Thank you, Papa Jagaban! You are the chosen one. Lead the APC to victory so Sierra Leone can become like paradise,” supporters echoed as the event concluded.
