One of the leading All People’s Congress (APC) flagbearer aspirants, Sheikh Alhaji Mohamed Omodu Kamara, also known as Jagaban, has warned that any attempt to challenge or undermine his membership of the party will be strongly resisted. Jagaban, who seems to be the most popular flagbearer aspirant in the APC and has toured the country, declared, “If they mess with me, they will see my wrath,” emphasising that though he is a Muslim, he is prepared to fight for his rights and pursue the matter to its logical conclusion.
He stated unequivocally that he is a duly registered and paid-up member of the APC, and official records can attest to his membership status. He appealed to party members not to push him to a point where he would have to fight back.
According to the flagbearer aspirant, his primary objective is to return the APC to power, arguing that failure to do so in the 2028 polls would result in continued hardship for the country. He added that his political ambition is driven by the desire to rescue the country and restore hope through APC leadership.
