Freetown witnessed a strong call for environmental responsibility as a one-day public awareness and evidence-based advocacy training on the hazards of oil and gas pollution on the coastal and marine environment successfully concluded at the Council of Churches in Sierra Leone (CCSL) main conference hall along Kinghama Road.
The event brought together Environmental Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), media practitioners, and environmental advocates, all united by a common goal—to strengthen collaboration and raise awareness about the growing threats oil and gas activities pose to Sierra Leone’s fragile coastal and marine ecosystems.
