On November 10, 2025, in Jeddah, the 5th Hajj Conference and Exhibition was held under the theme “From Mecca to the World.” The Government of Sierra Leone, led by Alhaji Murtada Sesay and Ambassador Dr. Ibrahim Jalloh, along with the Embassy of Sierra Leone in Riyadh and other high-level diplomats, participated in the three-day event that brought together delegates from over 150 countries to discuss innovations and collaboration in enhancing Hajj services.
The high-profile Sierra Leonean delegation joined global stakeholders in over 80 sessions and 60 workshops focused on improving the pilgrim experience and service delivery for the upcoming Hajj season.
How can Sierra Leone use its participation in major Hajj conferences to build stronger cooperation with Saudi Arabia in religious tourism and service improvement?
