Personal Assistant to the Ambassador of Tehran/Iran
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan H.E Amabassador Ahmet Gurbanov, has today signed a diplomatic protocol relation with his counter part Ambassador of Sierra Leone in Tehran/Iran,

It was a historical moment for the two countries, first time in the history of Sierra Leone to have a diplomatic relation with Turkmenistan.
The Turkmenistan Ambassador and his delegation which consist of the Miltary Attache Polat Saparov, and the First Secretary/Consul Perhat Ojarov, welcome the delegation from the Sierra Leone embassy in Tehran/Iran, which comprise of the Ambassdor of Sierra Leone in Tehran, H.E Ambassador Alie Badara Kamara, the acting heading of chancery, Mr Saidu Kamara, the Personal Assistant to the Ambassador, Mr Ibrahim Jakema, and the Secretary Translator to the Ambassador of Sierra Leone, Miss Behnoosh Behravan.
In his opening remarks H.E Ambassador Ahmet Gurbanov was very certain that there would be a cooperation between the two countries after signing the diplomatic protocol relation, he extended his appreciation and sincere thanks to the President of Sierra Leone H.E Rtd Brigadier Dr Julius Maada Bio, on behalf of the president of Turkmenistan for honouring their request to have diplomatic relation between Sierra Leone and Turkmenistan, and he is looking forward to work and strengthening the bilaterial relationship between the two countries, as they are hoping that Sierra Leone would be the first country in Africa they are considering to open an Embassy.
On his path the Ambassador of Sierra Leone in Tehran/Iran H.E Ambassador Alie Badara Kamara, thanks his colleague for the effort he has put to see this historical moment come into reality between the two countrries.
They also discussed investment Opportunities between the two countries on how they can collaborate after the official Presentation of his letter of credence to President of Turkimenistan.
