Madam Kadiatu Bankolay, Director of Vulnerable Charity Salone, has joined other stakeholders to combat the growing menace of Kush in Koinadugu and Falaba districts. In a passionate plea, she urged dealers to cease selling the dangerous substance, emphasizing the devastating impact it has on the youth population.
According to Madam Kadiatu the loss of four lives to Kush-related incidents has galvanized her organization to take a stand against the proliferation of the drug. She stressed that the future of the nation depends on the youth, and allowing them to succumb to Kush addiction would be catastrophic.
In an interview with Falaba Online TV, Madam Bankolay appealed to stakeholders to allow law enforcement agencies to handle the situation, while also advocating for support and resources to address the root causes of addiction. Her organization is committed to providing assistance to those struggling with mental health challenges, including those affected by Kush.
The collaboration between Vulnerable Charity Salone and other stakeholders aims to raise awareness about the dangers of Kush and promote a healthier, safer environment for the youth. By working together, they hope to prevent further loss of life and empower young people to reach their full potential.
