This Congress has provided the unique opportunity to engage with global oil & gas industry leaders around the world.
I had one-on-one engagement with Mr Fahad Alholi, Ministry of Oil & Gas, State of Kuwait, for partnership with the Kuwait Oil Company. KOC is a key subsidiary to the Kuwait Petroleum Cooperation, a parent company with nine ( 9) subsidiaries, including petroleum downstream activities.
The team made a tour at the Kuwait Oil Company to experience the Kuwait Oil exploration process in Al Ahmadi.
I had a separate engagement with Mr. J. Dean Tucker ( Canada) and Mr. J. Gerardo Uria ( United States ), council members for Canada and United States, respectively, each focused on partnership, investment opportunities, regulatory best practices, and staff technical exchange.
The session with Mr. Mohamed Al Tayyar, Ministry of Oil, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, was really inspiring. Mr. Tayyarin already has immense interest in Sierra Leone. His passion for Sierra Leone is admirable. According to him, his interest emanates from the great leadership of President Julius Maada Bio.
We discussed diverse investment opportunities, including government strategic petroleum products, regional tank farms, and LPG.
